My vision of this lovely existing Georgian Terrace over-looking the Thames Estuary at Southend-on-Sea, as it might have been back in the Edwardian period. The Edwardian Summer was sometimes referred to as that lovely, charming and optimistic period that existed before WWI took place. Unfortunately those elegant and peaceful days will never return.

Thank you for your kind comments Sandy, I do see your point though, and to explain that this area is nearly 40 miles east of London and the only seaside resort on the River Thames and just at the point where it meets the sea, so it is unique in this respect. As for the rest of the Thames in general it is just a very industrial, busy route right up to Tower Bridge in London. Thank you again Sandy for your interest!
