Marvelous nostalgic artwork David! I had the pleasure of visiting London earlier this year and so enjoyed this wonderful city! Your charming painting takes me back to the places I visited, especially with this view of the Thames and Houses of Parliament. I delight in imagining being back in London during that period as I view your beautifully colored work that tells such a great story. Thanks for sharing your fabulous creations with me and the world! Thanks also for visiting my gallery and sharing your kind thoughts also! Have a terrific year!

Ahhhh yes! Immediately I'm pulled right into the world you so beautifully describe in your art David. I feel the pace of life slow down in your world and it suits me well. The way you position and shape each figure speaks volumes through the body language. So wonderfully thought out. I am left marveling though at the beauty of those damp warm umber paving stones and the subtle shadows you merged in with great dexterity. Flawlessly painted in my view and I know that is not an easy achievement. WONDERFUL! L/F

Wow Jane!!! :)) Your replies are boosting my determination to do better in future as I only see my own mistakes (as we all should do). But it is so wonderful to receive such lovely and encouraging comments Jane, I can't thank you enough!

Another great London scene overlooking the Thames River. It's been years since I have last been to London. I hope to get back there over the next few years and bring hubby. Thanks for sharing a childhood memory David, and what a nice one it is. Nice POV. Nicely composed as always. L.

David, I love this scene, and you must have had fun inventing it. I love your colors, and I bet that, like me, you have fun creating a story and imaginining yourself in the painting as you paint it. By the way, you left a very nice comment on one of my paintings today, and I accidentally deleted it as I was trying to reply. Anyway, thank you so much those comments.
David Godbolt replied:
Thank you Sherri, yes I really live in my paintings, he he! You made me laugh about accidentally deleting....the curse of computers! :)
