As I was capturing images on the north side of the lighthouse, I noticed that the clouds that had been passing over seemed to be collecting there. So I decided to head to the other side and see how it looked from there. I scrambled out onto the rocks and began photographing. The light was soft with pastel hues of pink and purple and blue. The waters of Casco Bay continued to wash over the rocks and my long exposure allowed the foam to create the textures in the foreground. It was a calm and peaceful ending to a great day.
