Description

While exploring an antique mall in Quechee, Vermont, I noticed this old piano just outside the front door. I immediately knew I was going to make a photograph of it. As I worked several different angles, trying to exhaust them all, I finally settled on this angle, the player's-eye-view, if you will. I wanted to show the aged piano keys. The cracked ivory (or maybe plastic) keys, the grimy dirt on them. This is a piano that's played a few songs, heard a few stories, seen a few lives.
