Description
The sky glows before sunrise at Gulliver's Hole in Quoddy Head State Park in Lubec, Maine. Gulliver's Hole is a narrow chasm formed from the erosion in a vertical fault in the volcanic rock.
On this morning, as I arrived at the park, I decided that rather than photograph the lighthouse, I wanted to highlight the rugged coastline. I decided I would head to Gulliver's Hole and capture the glowing sky over Passamaquoddy Bay. It was a glorious sunrise and a beautiful morning.
